Investment Associate

As an Associate at Quadrum Capital in Almelo, you are part of the Investment Team. You work closely with the Investment Manager/Director and provide support across various aspects of the investment or transaction cycle. You analyze companies to assess innovations, opportunities, and risks. In addition, you bring strong financial and business skills to build valuation models and prepare investment proposals.

In the role of Associate, you play an active part in transactions and in the further development of portfolio companies. This includes performing financial analyses, drafting investment memos, conducting market research, coordinating due diligence processes, and maintaining communication with clients, counterparties, and other stakeholders (such as banks, accountants, or advisors). As an Associate, you will also manage a number of portfolio companies yourself.

Responsibilities
Portfolio management (from acquisition to exit) together with the Investment Manager/Director and the involved partner, supported by a team of back-office specialists (legal/controlling) and analysts.

Actively contributing to the targeted growth and development of portfolio companies (value creation).
Analyzing company information and building financial models.

Preparing investment proposals for the Investment Committee.

Deal sourcing (research and analysis of investment opportunities).

Supporting Investor Relations.

Requirements
A completed Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant work experience, for example in the financial sector, M&A/private equity/family office, or strategy consulting.

Residency in the Eastern Netherlands with a broad and relevant local network.

Solid experience in financial modeling as well as extensive proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills.

Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on networking and collaboration.

Personality: entrepreneurial, curious, and no-nonsense.
