Westerduin and Werkis are joining forces, marking the next step in the development of a strong regional staffing platform. Together with growth partner Quadrum Capital, the organisations are continuing to build a group that now comprises twenty branches across the northern, eastern and central regions of the Netherlands.

Westerduin and Werkis have both been active in the staffing sector for almost twenty years, focusing on production, logistics and engineering. The organisations share a strong regional focus and a people-centred approach. Westerduin operates nine branches in the central Netherlands, while Werkis has eleven branches in the north-east of the country. Adhocdocent, part of Westerduin, is also part of the group.

Building a strong regional platform
The partnership gives both organisations greater scope to further strengthen their regional presence, open new branches and share knowledge and expertise. At the same time, the combination responds to developments within the staffing sector, where increasing regulation and technological change require greater scale, expertise and resources.

Preserving identity and entrepreneurship
Westerduin and Werkis will continue to operate under their own names and retain their individual identities. Continuity will also be maintained in the management of both organisations: Michèl Schilders and Wessel van Dijk will remain Managing Directors of Westerduin and Werkis respectively.
