Founded in June 2023 under the guidance of Quadrum Capital, The Trainee Company emerged from the merger of traineeship providers GoodtobeBetter, Fincade, and STRADIS. The company’s mission is to unlock people’s full potential and bridge the gap between education and the labor market, with the ultimate goal of becoming the leading provider of traineeships.

With the 2025 acquisition of industry peer Werkmandejong, active since its founding in 2005 in the areas of recruitment, development, and secondment of young talent, The Trainee Company further expanded its offerings. Werkmandejong continues to operate under its own name, focusing on traineeships in Finance & Control, Process & Business, and Human Resources. By combining their experience and expertise, the two organizations create an even more comprehensive offering in the field of talent development and placement.
